Dior Forever Perfect Cushion

Attended my first ELLE event of the year at Dior MBS last Saturday, where we:

- Learnt how to achieve that flawless perfect luminous matte complexion with Han, 1 in 16 Pro Team member worldwide and Singapore's most decorated makeup artist.
- Had a quick complexion touch up with the new Dior Forever Perfect Cushion.
- Played with the Dior lip sugar scrub

There is also a complimentary rhinestone personalisation service if you buy the new cushion now.

Personally I'm more interested in the lip products like the wide array of lipsticks, and also the lip sugar scrub which I thought was amazing. It was a self-vanishing sweet exfoliating lip balm, which means that you can feel the exfoliating beads on your lips when applied. After you purse your lips, those beads will vanish!

Yep looked at some of the Dior Lip Glow products.

The store had a lovely section dedicated to fragrances too. Played around with them a bit. I still have a bottle of the Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet EDT at home!

Thanks ELLE Singapore for having me once again!

I tried the original Mak's Noodles in Hong Kong before, and the SG one was as usual, springy and different from any other Wonton noodles I've tried.

Also attended the media tasting at Honolulu Cafe Singapore within the same shopping mall.

We got to try a variety of their Hong Kong Cafe (Cha Chan Teng) Style dishes:

Curry Fish Balls

Chicken Wings

Polo Buns (aka Pineapple buns)

French Toast

My favourite dish of the day, surprisingly, was the French toast. (I'm not a toast person and would normally not order toasts outside)

Ya you sort of get the idea.

Anyway, the highlight of the day was actually the egg tarts and beancurd tarts.

The beancurd tarts were launched just weeks ago and unlike the famous flaky egg tarts, the beancurd tarts are best eaten chilled.

There is a tendency to compare between this and the beancurd tarts from established brand Le Cafe. You can try both and decide which is nicer.

In celebration with the coming Valentine's Day, Honolulu Cafe introduced a "Yuan Yang" set which comprises of 2 egg tarts and 2 beancurd tarts.

"Yuan Yang" Set: $5 each (U.P $7.60)
